Dr. Amore began prioritizing her journey into the holistic side of medicine and dentistry by attending her first International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology meeting on a student scholarship in 2018. Since then, she has attended meetings every year 2x a year and has been exposed to many hours of the latest Continuing Education courses. While in dental school, she was a member of the Student National Dental Association, American Student Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. She relocated to Kansas City to work alongside Dr. Julie Babcock for 1.5 years in order to continue learning as much as possible to care for her patients and fulfill her dream of practicing dentistry from a biologic mindset. Since then, she moved to Tampa Bay/Sarasota area in Florida. She is certified in the S.M.A.R.T technique from the IAOMT for safely removing mercury and amalgam fillings and an accredited member. She is proficient in Bioclear fillings, esthetic metal-free porcelain crowns, surgical extractions, using platelet-rich fibrin techniques, bone grafting and ceramic implant placements. Dr. Amore is especially passionate about sleep and breathing disorders in children, interceptive airway-centered orthodontics and jaw expansion in adults.
